Weekly Review: NIGHT.RIDER by KEVIN.MURPHY (hair product in non-super villain lingo)

This week I’m bringing a brief review on the hair product I use. The product goes by the very adventurous name of NIGHT.RIDER and is from a brand called KEVIN.MURPHY. I used to try a new hair product every time I went to the store to replace the old one. I was never really satisfied with any of them until my barber suggested I try this one, which I’ve now been using for almost a year.

Weekly Review: Certina DS-4 Big Size watch

In this week’s review, I want to talk about my Certina DS-4 Big Size watch - yes I know, it’s kind of an awkward name - reference number C022.610.11.051.00. Before laying my judgment on you I’ll talk a little bit about the brand Certina itself, the technical and the esthetic design of the watch.

Weekly Review: Drake’s Woven-Silk Tie – Too good to be true?

Sales aren’t really my cup of tea. Well, I do like a bargain; I just don’t like the hustle and bustle. That’s why I’d rather roam the Internet for a great deal and that’s exactly what I did for this weekly review! I’ve wanted a Drake’s London product for some time now. The brand still hand makes all its ties and pocket squares in London; needless to say their products ooze class, luxury and craftsmanship.

Car configurators

Certain industries and brands are masters at creating great desirability around their products. The marketers of the automotive industry’s premium brands possess this craft as no other. One of the great tools they have is the car configurator available on their websites. I’ve spent many hours putting together all kinds of cars I would like, ranging from somewhat realistic to totally unobtainable. I’m sure I’m not the only one doing this but I like going through the mental exercise of configuring a car by giving myself limitation in certain areas but giving myself carte blanche in others. Today I’ll walk you through my latest concoction in the following steps.

Today I want to do a somewhat unusual Weekly Review and talk to you about one of, if not, my favorite webshop, The Gentlemen’s Corner (TGC). To use their own words: “The Gentlemen’s Corner offers a full selection of items to help you express your personality and convey your unique style.” Read why you will enjoy TGC just as much as I do!

If I could only own one watch for the rest of my life…

If you’re into watches, like me, and you aren’t some billionaire listed in Forbes, sadly enough, also like me, chances are you’ve asked yourself this question: If I could only own one watch, which one would it be?
